The Leach Pottery, St. Ives and Marty Gross Film Productions, Canada are working together to restore, digitise and re-release films from the 1930s to 1970s that profile key people in the history of the Leach Pottery and the Mingei Movement.
The project will take place over the next three years, with the end result being a compendium of DVDs including a booklet with documents translated from Japanese into English and new essays looking at the impact of the Mingei philosophy.
